Valentina Soria is an Associate Fellow at RUSI and was previously a Research Fellow working at RUSI's Counter-Terrorism and Security Programme. She analyses and assesses the terrorist threat to the UK and its potential implications.
Previously she worked as a Research Assistant to RUSI's Director-General, Michael Clarke, on jihadist terrorism. She is co-author of 'Terrorism in the UK: Confirming its Modus Operandi' and 'Terrorism: the New Wave', both published in the RUSI Journal.
She graduated in International Relations at Roma 3 University and holds an MA in Strategic Studies (Distinction) from the University of Reading.
