Adam Smith is seconded from MBDA missile systems in the Military Science department.
His current research interests include space security, missile design, the understanding of technology for military application and the the relationship of industry with the MoD. He also oversees conferences, meetings and lectures in these areas.
Adam graduated from Loughborough University in 2011 reading Physics, where he did an industrial placement in the vacuum science group at the Accelerator Science and Technology Centre (ASTeC), Science and Technology Faculties Centre (STFC) and subsequently took a graduate position with the prime European missile manufacturer, MBDA missiles systems, in September 2011. Currently works closely with the MBDA business development and strategic engagement teams whilst on secondment at RUSI.
