Luke Gribbon is a Research Analyst on the National Security and Resilience Studies at the Royal United Services Institute.
Prior to joining RUSI, he was a Defence and Security Analyst at the RAND Corporation where he undertook research consultancy for European Governments and European Commission agencies on emergency management, cyber security strategy, the evaluation of policing and countering violent extremism programmes as well as projects on the defence industrial base. He has conducted fieldwork in the Middle East and the Horn of Africa.
Between 2004 and 2012 Luke held posts in the UK central government focusing on national security. Luke has significant practitioner experience, having worked closely with the police counterterrorism network in the North West of England on operational and policy-focused CT work including working on Prevent since the policy's inception.
He holds an MSc in International Security and Global Governance from the University of London and a first class degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from University of Oxford.
