Emil Dall is a Research Fellow in the Centre for Financial Crime & Security Studies at RUSI, where his research focuses on sanctions policy and counter-proliferation finance.

Emil also conducts research on the use of sanctions in foreign policy, including the design and implementation of country-based sanctions regimes, and is involved in the Institute’s high-level Task Force on the Future of UK Sanctions Policy.
Prior to joining RUSI in 2015, Emil was a risk analyst for a major international insurer operating out of Lloyd’s of London, and before that he was a researcher at the Policy Institute at King’s College London.
He holds degrees from the University of Cambridge and the Department of War Studies at King’s College London, and was a 2017 Nuclear Scholar at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C.
